Senior Software Engineer – Platform Security

What you will do

• Design, develop, and operate highly available platform security services for hirify.global Distributed Cloud.
• Build authentication, authorization, certificate management, secret management, and key management capabilities.
• Write tested, production-grade Golang code for distributed and performance-sensitive systems.
• Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes across multi-cloud and edge environments.
• Collaborate with product, SRE, and engineering teams on secure, scalable solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, threat modeling, compliance, and audit readiness efforts.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience in C++, Java, or Golang; Golang is strongly preferred.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Linux and Kubernetes.
• Experience building platform security services in authentication, authorization, certificate management, secret management, or key management.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, system design, and secure, reliable software development.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Codex.
• Ability to work in the Reston location.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or Keycloak.
• Experience contributing to FedRAMP compliance initiatives.
• Experience integrating AI, ML, or LLM capabilities into production.
• Knowledge of AI security practices, including securing AI/ML pipelines and mitigating prompt injection or model misuse.
