Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) (Or Staff Integration Engineer) (Fintech)

Location: New York City, hybrid with office attendance three times a week

Salary: $240,000–$280,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build reusable integrations between the platform and financial custodian systems.
• Apply systems and security expertise to integrations with external financial institutions.
• Support bank compliance reviews, security audits, and other high-scrutiny technical environments.
• Maintain deployment, credential and key rotation, and incident response processes.
• Embed with clients during production cutovers and other peak deployment windows to ensure reliable operation.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in client-facing situations under pressure.
• Deep expertise in systems integration, financial services infrastructure, or comparable domain knowledge.
• Ability to reason about security in external system integrations and regulatory compliance.
• Operational discipline and attention to detail during high-stakes deployments and incident response.
• Comfort working in regulated environments with banking clients and compliance teams.
