What you will do
- Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, bills of materials, specifications, and work instructions to assemble equipment and products.
- Use standard hand tools, including pliers, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers.
- Assemble wiring harnesses, cabling, and electrical connections while following schematics, procedures, and ESD controls.
- Perform quality inspections, complete production checklists and quality documentation, and report quality issues.
- Rework or repair assembled equipment according to engineering changes and specifications.
- Train associates, assess trainee readiness, and maintain safe, organized workstations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of mechanical assembly or equivalent experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, interpret drawings and prints, and communicate effectively.
- Manual dexterity and knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and navigation of ERP systems, databases, and computer-based test equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, squat, work in constrained spaces, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 35 lbs.
