Manufacturing Technician - Assembly

What you will do

• Assemble dry gas seals safely into test cells using hand and power tools.
• Clean seal components, update incoming seal records, and maintain component data and storage locations.
• Perform testing and troubleshoot issues associated with seal assembly.
• Prepare and maintain test cell assembly documentation and records.
• Complete weekly 5S audits, participate in continuous improvement activities, and attend daily SPQCD meetings.
• Train other technicians when required and maintain productivity standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in the oil and gas or rotating equipment industry.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience with fine measurements and assembly or testing work.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of continuous improvement and related tools.

Nice to have

• Assembly or testing experience with gas seals.
