Electromechanical Technician Intern

Location: Merrimack, New Hampshire, United States; onsite manufacturing floor work

Salary: $21.87–$32.81 per year, plus potential annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Build components, subassemblies, and systems alongside manufacturing and production teams.
• Fit, adjust, and test assembled hardware for form, function, and conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot assembly and production issues with technicians and operators.
• Observe manufacturing processes, gather data, and help implement corrective actions.
• Document assembly procedures, work instructions, and process observations for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical input as manufacturing programs transition from design to production.

Requirements

• Prior practical experience using hand tools, performing mechanical or electromechanical assembly, or working on an industrial shop floor.
• Experience beyond classroom exposure and the ability to apply hands-on skills in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to follow workplace instructions and communicate clearly with manufacturing team members.
• Basic arithmetic skills, including decimals, fractions, and percentages.
• Structured approach to observing problems, gathering information, and identifying solutions within established processes.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend or stoop frequently, lift lightweight objects repetitively, and occasionally lift objects over 50 pounds.
