Product Owner, PMS & OMS (Investment Management)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid schedule with office attendance four days per week and remote work one day per week.

Base salary: USD 120,000–225,000 per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and evolve the product vision, strategy, roadmap, objectives, and success measures for PMS and OMS capabilities.
• Own the product backlog, roadmap commitments, sequencing decisions, capacity allocation, and prioritization trade-offs.
• Deliver capabilities for portfolio construction, target management, constrained-account implementation, exposure and dispersion management, guideline adherence, and order handoff to the trading platform.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Analysts, Investment Implementation, Compliance, Trading, Operations, Risk, Data, and Technology stakeholders.
• Lead backlog refinement, release planning, Agile ceremonies, product acceptance, stakeholder engagement, and adoption efforts.
• Identify and prioritize AI and advanced analytics opportunities for investment workflows, decision support, automation, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in asset management or financial services.
• Deep understanding of portfolio management, investment implementation, order management, and front-to-back investment workflows.
• Experience defining product strategies, roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery priorities.
• Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives in Agile environments.
• Experience collaborating with portfolio managers, investment analysts, risk, data, and technology teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree or CFA, FRM, CAIA, or related qualification is preferred.

• Experience working with traders, operations, and compliance teams.
