Associate Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $80,000–$102,000 per year, plus eligible annual discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do

• Support product vision, strategy, and roadmap development aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, compliance, marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver product features.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify user needs.
• Write product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration.
• Analyze product performance and user feedback while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in product management, consulting, banking, or fintech.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Basic understanding of financial products such as payments, lending, and digital banking.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Employment eligibility verification is conducted through the U.S. E-Verify program.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Knowledge of APIs, data analytics tools, or SQL.
• Understanding of KYC, AML, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with ADO, Confluence, or Figma.
