Wind Technician (Wind Power)

Location: Bryson, Texas, United States; on-site field work with travel to other sites as needed

What you will do

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot wind turbine generator systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, basic commissioning, component integration, and other technical work packages.
• Raise technical issues to engineering functions and provide second- and third-level customer support remotely and on site.
• Coordinate service operations and resolve equipment issues while following defined processes, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Support service planning and generate leads for predefined service offers.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; employer-sponsored work authorization is not available now or in the future.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, including climbing 100-meter ladders daily.
• Ability to travel to other sites, work outside planned hours, and perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions, including overtime.
• Must meet the body-weight limit of 265 pounds or less and pass a physical examination and pre-hire background drug screening.
