Automation Technician-2 (CNC)

Salary: $72,360–$108,540 per year

What you will do

• Develop and modify offline CNC machining and cutting programs.
• Troubleshoot automated machining and cutting processes and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Support CNC and cutting program integration, equipment start-up, engineering changes, and process improvements.
• Maintain quality systems, inspect machined and cut assemblies, and improve safety and cycle time.
• Document equipment failures, downtime, maintenance records, and spare-parts requirements.
• Provide technical support, coaching, and training to CNC and cutting machine operators.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of CNC, PLC, or programming experience.
• Experience working with automated CNC and cutting machines.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Successful completion of background, physical, and drug/alcohol screenings is required before hiring.
• Applicants requiring employer-specific sponsorship for H, L, TN, F, J, E, or O status are not currently eligible.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in manufacturing engineering or a related discipline.
• Tool design and fixturing experience.
• Offline CNC programming experience or motivation to learn it.
