Associate Site Manager (Wind)

Location: Chevelon Butte Wind Farm near Winslow, Arizona, USA. Onsite role with a scheduled Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, emergency on-call coverage, occasional travel, and variable hours when required.

What you will do

• Manage site maintenance, repair, warranty, and work schedules for the wind facility.
• Oversee contractual requirements, third-party contractors, OEM operations, and relationships with utilities, landowners, off-takers, and project participants.
• Manage balance-of-plant activities, including the substation, transmission line, roads, vegetation control, landowner concerns, and building maintenance.
• Respond to collection and transmission system outages and maintain 24/7 emergency response capability.
• Monitor project performance, availability, quality, costs, and contractual obligations, recommending improvements to reliability and efficiency.
• Manage site safety, environmental training, regulatory compliance, documentation, and support for the operating budget.

Requirements

• Must be based at the Chevelon Butte Wind Farm near Winslow, Arizona, and hold a valid US driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus 5–8 years of maintenance or operations experience, or advanced technical education/training plus at least 5 years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience with plant maintenance, operations, or related technical fields; wind generation experience is preferred, with Vestas turbine experience a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of wind turbine generators, substations, SCADA functions, high-voltage maintenance and switching, applicable PPE, safety, environmental, NERC, and NFPA 70E requirements.
• Computer proficiency, including SAP or other CMMS systems, facility control, word processing, spreadsheets, email, and extensive site documentation management.
• Must be able to pass a background check and climb towers up to 400 feet while meeting specific weight requirements. Ability to read, write, and understand English is required.
