Field Applications Engineer Leader (Advanced Manufacturing)

Location: Fully remote in the United States; travel up to 35%, including domestic and international travel.

Total on-target compensation: $170,000–$207,000 per year, including a base salary of $120,000–$145,000 plus commission and profit sharing.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing field applications engineering team through coaching, mentoring, and structured talent development.
• Develop and execute field applications strategies with business stakeholders and peer leaders to drive growth.
• Increase design wins by identifying new opportunities and fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Build strategic technical relationships with major accounts and collaborate with segment leaders, account managers, factory engineering, and product management.
• Establish customer excellence processes and support customer meetings, tailored solutions, and timely technical service.
• Monitor applications performance through data-driven analytics and manage the function’s budget and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• At least 5 years of applications experience in advanced manufacturing, commercial semiconductor manufacturing, industrial HVAC manufacturing, or a relevant field.
• Ability to understand customer applications deeply and develop creative solutions.
• Ability to adapt to varied field situations and build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel up to 35% domestically and internationally.

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
