Sales and Service Banker, Falmouth, MA

Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts, United States; branch-based work with possible support for nearby branches. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Annual base pay: $34,500–$53,000 USD.

What you will do

• Advise customers on banking, lending, and investment products based on their financial needs.
• Build and deepen customer relationships through account support, portfolio management, referrals, and cross-selling.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other teller transactions while maintaining accurate cash balances.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Resolve customer concerns, deliver a high-quality service experience, and support branch sales goals.
• Follow regulatory, operational, risk management, and fraud prevention requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; a related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 12 months of product or service sales experience, or 6 months of relevant retail banking, financial services, consultative sales, or qualifying internal experience.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience in a high-volume environment and 6 months of cash-handling experience.
• Relationship-building, consultative sales, communication, teamwork, and customer loyalty skills.
• Computer proficiency, basic math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be available for branch hours, including possible weekends and evenings, and already authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Established work history or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
