Relationship Banker (Retail Banking)

Location: York, Pennsylvania, United States of America; onsite branch work with face-to-face customer interaction.

Salary: $20.55–$34.25 hourly (USD)

What you will do

• Assess customer needs, identify sales opportunities, and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
• Open and onboard customer accounts while supporting existing customers through branch servicing interactions.
• Conduct proactive outreach by phone and email, schedule appointments, prepare pre-call plans, and follow up with customers.
• Refer complex customer needs to appropriate internal partners and collaborate to support branch goals.
• Apply KYC, CIP, fraud prevention, audit, and operational risk controls.
• Maintain registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act and stay current on product, system, and operational changes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus at least two years of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience, or at least one year of proactive sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated financial services product knowledge and the ability to communicate tactfully with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with internet user-level technology and standard communication tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods, read fine print, use hands and fingers for extended periods, and lift objects weighing 5 to 30 pounds.
• Ability to work face-to-face with customers in the York branch.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
