Associate II, Business Development and Structuring (Energy)

Location: Rockville, MD; 4 days in office at the Gaithersburg, Maryland work site. Hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with up to 10% travel as needed.

Salary: $75,900–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Research business development opportunities, energy markets, customers, geographic segments, and competitors.
• Collect, organize, and summarize market data to support forecasts, strategy development, and scenario comparisons.
• Help develop customer and project structuring solutions and maintain project financial models.
• Contribute to business cases, financial analyses, forecasts, exhibits, and presentation materials for senior leadership.
• Coordinate with strategic finance, cost estimating, engineering, and licensing teams to verify model inputs and calculations.
• Support customer relationship development leaders and other Global Business Development priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically three years of relevant work experience.
• Experience supporting financial analysis or financial modeling and preparing presentations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain analytical findings to non-financial stakeholders.
• Skills in data analysis, forecasting support, and scenario comparison, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work four days per week in the Gaithersburg, Maryland office.
