Manager - Safety (Automotive)

Location: Plano, Texas, with responsibility for Service Parts Organization sites in Ontario, California; Torrance, California; San Ramon, California; Portland, Oregon; and Kansas City, Missouri

What you will do

• Build an interdependent safety culture and support site management and supervisors in fulfilling their safety responsibilities.
• Translate complex safety regulations into actionable instructions, standardized policies, standards, and programs.
• Develop safety communication strategies, business plans, and regional priorities.
• Analyze safety data and trends, prepare local, regional, regulatory, and internal reports, and implement incident countermeasures.
• Lead and develop the Service Parts Organization safety team across multiple sites.
• Drive safety management system standardization, ergonomics initiatives, and man-machine interaction risk reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Direct experience in a hirify.global Safety role and working knowledge of hirify.global Business Practice.
• Experience with Intelex, Serenity, or similar safety software.
• Experience conducting safety hazard risk assessments in production or working-floor environments and using data analysis to address hazards.
• Experience auditing Health and Safety regulatory compliance; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must have the right to work in the United States and must not require hirify.global immigration or employment-visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, or similar.
• Ergo Vision experience related to ergonomic burden reduction and countermeasures.
