Senior EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead environmental, health, and safety programs for a site with multiple business units.
• Identify, evaluate, and control occupational and environmental hazards while maintaining OSHA and applicable federal and local compliance.
• Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, reporting systems, safety operating systems, and training programs.
• Manage worker compensation activities, including relationships with treating physicians and attorneys.
• Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions address root causes.
• Advise site management, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and lead corporate-wide EHS projects and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Health, and Safety or a related field, with 6–8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of EHS supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing teams of up to 7 direct or indirect reports.
• Availability to travel up to 15% and meet the qualifications of the company’s Driver Management Program when travel or driving is required.

Nice to have

• Success leading, developing, or implementing a safety operating system.
• Knowledge of applicable state regulations.
• Certification in industrial hygiene, ergonomics, environmental engineering, or another specialized EHS field.
