Location: Barstow, CA; Amarillo, TX; Belen, NM; Corwith, IL; Haslet, TX; Kansas City, KS; Logistics Park Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Oklahoma City, OK; Phoenix, AZ; or San Bernardino, CA. Travel and relocation anywhere on the operating system are required. Training includes Fort Worth, TX, and Overland Park, KS.
Salary: $80,000 hiring rate, with an opportunity after approximately six months to promote to Supervisor of Terminal Operations at $113,000.

What you will do
- Lead safety briefings and meetings while enforcing Federal Railroad Administration and BNSF rules.
- Investigate accidents, monitor costs, conduct operational audits, and ensure compliance with policies.
- Coordinate train crews, locomotives, railcars, and terminal operations to execute movement plans.
- Communicate with customers about shipments and coordinate with internal departments to provide efficient service.
- Supervise employees, manage daily train and switching operations, and support crew personnel administration.
- Work in indoor and outdoor safety-sensitive environments around heavy machinery, noise, fumes, and varied weather conditions.
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship is required.
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of hire and able to pass background verification, medical review, and a drug screen.
- Be pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, business, communication, technical studies, or a related field, with at least a 2.75 GPA.
- Have less than three years of professional work experience or military service, excluding internships, part-time jobs, and work performed while studying.
- Be able and willing to relocate anywhere on the operating system, travel as needed, and work in a 24/7 environment with nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
- Meet visual and auditory signal requirements and safely work outdoors, climb ladders, and navigate uneven surfaces.

- Internship or limited work experience in supply chain, business, logistics, or a related field.
- Leadership experience in a campus, community, or extracurricular organization.
