Systems Engineer Level 3 (Network/Systems)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain network and server infrastructure for manufacturing automation systems and laboratory operations.
• Lead infrastructure growth projects, upgrades, and network modernization initiatives.
• Configure and maintain LAN environments, including routers, switches, and VLANs.
• Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, virtualization platforms, and storage infrastructure.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot network and system issues, and implement cybersecurity best practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical systems outside normal business hours.

Requirements

• 5+ years of infrastructure experience in biotech, manufacturing, or another regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking, virtualization, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience designing, integrating, testing, and maintaining complex systems.
• Understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VLANs, and access controls.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with manufacturing execution systems, industrial control systems such as Emerson DeltaV, PowerShell scripting, backup and recovery solutions, or relevant industry certifications.
