IT Systems Administrator (Biotech)

Location: USA - Portland, OR; role based in Wilsonville, OR

What you will do

• Own administration of SaaS applications including Atlassian, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and Zoom.
• Administer Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, network policy, and certificate authorities.
• Integrate SaaS platforms with cloud identity and access management systems, including SSO, MFA, REST, and SCIM provisioning.
• Build, manage, and monitor on-premises data centers with enterprise networking, hypervisors, virtual machines, and shared storage.
• Manage infrastructure security, PKI, NAC, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Provide Tier 2/3 infrastructure support and protect hybrid and remote users through technologies such as Zero Trust and UEM.

Requirements

• 4+ years of IT systems administration and systems engineering experience.
• Experience automating tasks with PowerShell, Bash or shell scripting, Python, Perl, or another language using application APIs.
• Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML identity providers, SaaS API provisioning, REST, and SCIM.
• Strong experience with Cisco or Meraki networking, Windows Server administration, NetApp storage, and VMware virtualization.
• Knowledge of PKI, certificates, encryption, enterprise security, and regulated environments such as ISO 27001, ITIL, SOX, or SOC.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional experience, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

• MCITP certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
