Product Strategy & Operations Manager (Product Development Tools & AI Transformation)

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States. U.S. Person status is required, defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee.

Salary: $98,000–$163,000 annually within Colorado. The position is also incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Assess Jira usage, team workflows, data structures, reporting needs, and operational pain points across Product and Engineering.
• Architect and administer Jira at enterprise scale, including workflows, issue hierarchies, permissions, automation, dashboards, roadmaps, and reporting.
• Design a flexible Jira operating model with standards, governance, ownership, and data-quality expectations.
• Connect Jira with Asana, Confluence, Google Workspace, and other product development and collaboration tools.
• Build automations and reporting for intake, planning, handoffs, dependencies, delivery health, executive reviews, and board-level roadmaps.
• Lead change management, user training, adoption efforts, and the implementation of AI-enabled product operations solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in product operations, engineering operations, enterprise systems, business operations, or a related field.
• Significant experience architecting and administering Jira at enterprise scale.
• Experience designing operating models, governance practices, and standardized workflows for large organizations with varied processes.
• Strong understanding of the Product Management and Engineering development lifecycle, including intake, planning, prioritization, execution tracking, release coordination, and post-launch analysis.
• Demonstrated change-management experience, including process design, communication, training, resistance management, and sustained adoption.
• Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills, with the ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating Jira with Asana, Confluence, Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, or other enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, SQL, Python, JavaScript, Zapier, Workato, Make, or Power Automate.
• Experience with AI-enabled workflows, LLM-based tools, prompt engineering, or AI assistants.
• Experience with portfolio management, executive reporting, delivery metrics, dashboards, or board-level roadmaps.
• Experience in technical, software, aerospace, defense, or other complex product-development environments.
