AI Product Manager (Knowledge and Retrieval Systems)

Location: Medina, Minnesota, USA; hybrid/on-site with three days in the office and two flexible days

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise knowledge retrieval and AI-powered service experiences.
• Lead RAG, semantic search, vector database, knowledge graph, and AI-powered knowledge delivery initiatives.
• Identify and prioritize retrieval use cases that improve productivity, service quality, and customer experiences.
• Direct content ingestion, chunking, contextualization, and governance to improve the accuracy and currency of retrieved information.
• Collaborate with AI Engineering, Data and Analytics, software engineering, business, and vendor teams to optimize retrieval quality, grounding, citations, and user experience.
• Lead AI agent development, performance measurement, organizational adoption, governance, budgeting, and ROI tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible IT experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise technology transformation, digital workplace, or product/program management.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience owning and executing RAG processes in a corporate environment.
• Experience managing AI, search, knowledge management, or data-centric products across the product lifecycle.
• Technical experience with large language models, semantic search, embeddings, vector databases, knowledge graphs, Python, and AI-powered information retrieval.
• Experience with retrieval evaluation, grounding, citation accuracy, user feedback, responsible AI, data governance, security, compliance, stakeholder management, and business cases.
