Manager, Security - Today Show

Location: Required full-time on-site work at an hirify.global-designated worksite, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, United States

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year, bonus eligible

hirify.global is a media and entertainment company producing and distributing film, television, streaming, news, sports, and theme park content.

What you will do

• Maintain the safety of the site, employees, television talent, guests, and audience members.
• Manage and mentor a guard force of up to 20 personnel, including contracted security during productions and major events.
• Oversee evacuations, active shooter training, threat assessments, drills, and crisis preparedness.
• Manage security equipment, incident documentation, preliminary investigations, and real-time adjustments to the security posture.
• Develop risk assessments and security plans for special events and remote shoots.
• Provide talent escorts and travel nationally or internationally with the Today Show for remote shoots.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in law enforcement, military, corporate security, or a related field, including executive-level experience.
• Experience with large-scale event security, multi-agency collaboration, and supervision of staff or contracted employees.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, consultants, and negotiations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, critical thinking, and real-time operational response skills.
• Must be available on call 24/7 for emergencies and work holidays and extended hours.

Nice to have

• Prior corporate security or live production experience.
• Project management experience and knowledge of corporate security or law enforcement information management programs.
• HR 218 or New York State Security License.
