Business Intelligence Developer (Power BI & GIS)

Location: Remote from Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Chile, or Peru; working hours: U.S. Business Hours

hirify.global is hiring for a client developing analytics and reporting solutions for utility and infrastructure organizations.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize advanced Power BI dashboards and automated reporting systems.
• Build scalable data models for large time-series, geospatial, asset management, and operational datasets.
• Integrate Esri GIS data into Power BI solutions and create visualizations for infrastructure planning and asset management.
• Develop cloud-based reporting solutions and integrations using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, APIs, and cloud services.
• Analyze datasets, improve data quality and reporting reliability, and translate technical requirements into actionable business insights.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams while resolving feature requests and deploying dashboard updates.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency with Power BI and proven experience developing dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
• Strong experience with SQL, Python, business intelligence tools, and robust data modeling.
• Experience working with time-series data, geospatial data, and asset management datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear reporting solutions.
• Ability to work remotely from Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Chile, or Peru during U.S. Business Hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with Esri GIS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, API integrations, or REST APIs.
• Background in water infrastructure, utilities, or engineering.
• Experience with React or Blazor.
