TL;DR
Business Intelligence Architect (Canada) (Power BI/Microsoft Fabric): Designing and delivering end-to-end BI solutions, enterprise semantic models, and reporting infrastructure with an accent on Power BI, Fabric capacities, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Focus on optimizing BI environments, implementing security controls, automating reporting with Power Platform, and translating complex data into clear business insights.
Location: Remote in Canada; final interview and a 30-day immersion program are onsite.

What you will do
- Design and deliver end-to-end business intelligence solutions with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and maintain enterprise semantic models for business reporting.
- Manage and optimize Power BI and Fabric environments and capacities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data, analytics, and Global Data Governance teams.
- Automate reporting and BI processes using the Power Platform.
- Support business users and translate technical concepts into clear insights.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Premium/Fabric capacities.
- Expertise in DAX and Power Query, with strong data modeling skills.
- Advanced SQL experience with large and complex datasets.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI security, including RLS/OLS, workspaces, and Entra groups.
- Experience building enterprise semantic models and supporting report creators.
- Good knowledge of Python, hands-on Power Automate experience, working knowledge of Azure, and excellent communication skills.
