Business Intelligence Manager (AI)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid work with the option to work remotely or in-office depending on the role's needs

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

• Own the process from dashboard requests through intake, scoping, sequencing, delivery, and follow-through.
• Partner with leaders across the business to define metrics, data sources, and actionable insights.
• Design, build, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse infrastructure, including requirements gathering, ETL, data modelling, and metric design.
• Develop, test, launch, and maintain dashboards in Tableau Cloud and create AI-powered reporting solutions with Snowflake Cortex Analyst.
• Investigate data quality issues, design audits, explore new data sources, and improve business performance against core KPIs.
• Lead, mentor, and coach the BI team while reporting on infrastructure and project impact to the executive team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Domo.
• Expert-level SQL skills and experience with Snowflake or a similar data platform.
• Experience with data modelling and designing ETL processes.
• Post-secondary degree required; a background in analytics, mathematics, or another quantitative field is advantageous.
• Ability to translate business process design into system design, manage competing priorities, and deliver actionable data insights.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AI capabilities in Snowflake or similar platforms.
• Experience with Python or R.
