Applied AI Specialist

Location: Remote in the United States, with the position listed for Washington

Annual base salary: $171,000–$200,000, depending on primary work location, skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead technical AI discovery workshops with enterprise customers and strategic ecosystem partners, including NVIDIA.
• Discover, qualify, and prioritize high-value AI use cases suitable for production deployment.
• Assess data architecture, governance, security, infrastructure, and operational readiness for private AI implementations.
• Build proofs of concept, reference architectures, technical demonstrations, and reusable solution frameworks.
• Translate qualified opportunities into technical requirements, data specifications, success criteria, and architectural recommendations for Forward Deployed Engineering teams.
• Document reusable AI use cases, architectural patterns, and implementation frameworks across industries and regions.

Requirements

• Strong technical foundation in data science and hands-on experience with code, APIs, notebooks, development frameworks, and enterprise architectures.
• Practical experience with machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, time-series analytics, predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and generative AI.
• Experience in technical presales, solution architecture, consulting, customer engineering, or comparable enterprise discovery and solutioning roles.
• Ability to assess data quality, governance, security, compliance, infrastructure constraints, and operational readiness.
• Strong communication skills for engaging technical, executive, and business audiences.
• Experience with Python, APIs, cloud-native architectures, data pipelines, MLOps, and modern AI development ecosystems.

Nice to have

• Experience with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NIMs, NeMo, RAPIDS, or accelerated computing platforms.
• Experience delivering customer-facing workshops, design sessions, or architecture engagements.
• Experience moving AI projects from proof of concept into production.
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, governance frameworks, and hybrid cloud architectures.
