Senior Engineering Manager (Android)

Location: San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; or New York, NY

Salary: $212,700–$287,700 annually in San Francisco; $184,900–$250,200 annually in Seattle; $203,400–$275,200 annually in New York.

What you will do

• Set the strategic vision and roadmap for the Android Platform team.
• Lead development of core tools, services, and frameworks that enable engineers to build hirify.global mobile experiences.
• Partner with product management, iOS platform leadership, designers, and engineering leaders on mobile platform strategy.
• Improve developer experience, software quality, testing, delivery speed, metrics, and operational excellence.
• Define KPIs, communicate priorities across the organization, and resolve complex cross-functional challenges.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional mobile software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager or team lead.
• Experience shipping Android applications at scale.
• Experience hiring and developing remote engineers.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineering leaders in cross-functional groups.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React Native or equivalent mobile web technology.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
