Engineering Manager - Data Enablement

Salary: $139,455–$188,676 per year

What you will do

• Lead direct and indirect staff and provide strategic direction for the Data Enablement engineering area.
• Review technical solution designs and architecture, participate in system design discussions, and guide execution.
• Support software development practices, code reviews, engineering standards, continuous improvement, and observability.
• Partner with Product Management to define initiatives, roadmaps, objectives, priorities, and technical outcomes.
• Coordinate solutions across products and teams, remove delivery and operational barriers, and serve as an escalation point for production issues.
• Coach engineers, manage performance and career development, recruit talent, and oversee consulting and technology vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in Information Technology, including 5+ years in an IT discipline.
• 3+ years of leadership experience and 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in an IT functional area.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary, high-performing teams and executing multiple or large projects.
• Experience developing solutions to complex business problems with customers and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to make sound decisions with limited information and formulate, implement, and evaluate plans and procedures.

• Financial services industry experience.
• IT planning, business relationship management, or product development experience.
• Experience in a matrix management organization.
