Client Incentive Consultant (Fintech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; at least 3 days in the office required

What you will do

• Manage the operational lifecycle of client incentive agreements, amendments, renewals, waivers, clawbacks, and terminations.
• Review commercial proposals and contractual arrangements for operational feasibility, accounting implications, and policy compliance.
• Set up, maintain, monitor, and actualize incentive arrangements in Oracle Revenue Management & Billing and related systems.
• Perform volume validation, accrual updates, variance analysis, forecasting support, true-up calculations, and client incentive payments.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, balance sheet substantiation, and flux analysis.
• Partner with Commercial, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Account Executive, and Deal Management stakeholders while improving processes and automation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent advanced-degree or PhD experience criteria.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in financial operations, accounting, controllership, revenue accounting, client incentives, or a related finance function.
• Experience reviewing complex contracts and translating commercial terms into operational and accounting outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and financial data accuracy skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and understanding of financial controls, SOX requirements, audit standards, accounting principles, and US GAAP.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Experience with ERP and financial systems, especially Oracle Revenue Management & Billing.
• Ability to apply accounting judgment and analyze the financial implications of contractual and commercial arrangements.
