What you will do
- Own the entity’s US GAAP month-end close, reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis.
- Prepare technical accounting papers, US GAAP-to-local-GAAP bridge reconciliations, and annual statutory financial statements.
- Manage transfer pricing, corporate tax returns, indirect tax and VAT returns, and related technical tax documentation.
- Lead statutory audits, support internal audits, and maintain statutory, regulatory, SOx, FCA, and AML compliance activities.
- Partner with shared services, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, tax advisors, and local business teams on financial reporting and entity requirements.
- Drive process improvements, support legal entity structuring, and provide financial analysis and technical advice for business decisions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Qualified accountant: CA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Strong technical and financial accounting expertise in US GAAP or IFRS.
- Ability to research complex accounting topics and explain conclusions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical approach with experience implementing process improvements.
- Fluency in English; experience with a large accounting software package is required, with Oracle Financials preferred.
