What you will do
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly profit and loss analyses for the trading business.
- Conduct ongoing price verification to support accurate valuation of firm inventory.
- Assess new trades for valuation, accounting treatment, and financial statement disclosure.
- Analyze capital requirements, balance sheet positions, and funding sources.
- Produce financial statements and relevant disclosures for the trading business.
- Support preparation of external reports, including earnings releases and 10-Q/10-K disclosures.
Requirements
- Qualified CA, CFA, or CMA.
- Basic industry knowledge and strong accounting knowledge.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Accurate, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to exercise sound judgment and integrity.
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
