Senior Diesel Technician (Heavy-Duty Trucks)

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, refuse bodies, chassis, and fleet equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, diesel fuel systems, emissions and aftertreatment systems, including REGEN systems.
• Service air and hydraulic brakes, suspension, drivetrain, steering, HVAC, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Use electronic scan tools to identify malfunctions and diagnose complex multi-system issues.
• Perform line maintenance, welding, fabrication, and repairs on-site and on the road.
• Complete company training programs and support drivers operating the fleet.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to perform inspections and repairs independently across heavy-truck or automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, suspension, steering, and diesel emissions.
• Strong technical expertise and ability to diagnose multi-system issues.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred CDL Class B or higher.

Nice to have

• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8.
• LNG or CNG experience.
• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License.
