Johnson & Johnson MedTech develops healthcare and orthopaedic solutions, including DePuy Synthes trauma products for surgical and hospital customers.

What you will do

  • Support sales growth, customer retention, product conversions, and market-share objectives across the Cleveland territory.
  • Guide surgeons in the operating room by presenting, demonstrating, and supporting the proper use of trauma products.
  • Attend surgeries, ensure equipment availability and performance, optimize instrument trays, and consult with operating-room and sterile-processing departments.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, manage customer requests, and handle hospital billing and purchase orders.
  • Maintain surgeon and account relationships while sharing customer, procedural, and market insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.
  • Track and deploy equipment and assets, maintain product availability, and support high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; or an associate degree or medical certification such as CST or PT plus at least 2 years of relevant experience; or at least 4 years of relevant experience; recently transitioned military personnel may also qualify.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory and operating-room environment.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Ability to travel, including possible weekend and overnight travel.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and business-acumen skills.
  • Efficient, organized, self-motivated, positive, and proactive approach.

Nice to have

  • Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
  • Experience with account management, healthcare trends, market research, relationship building, solutions selling, and sales presentations.
