Senior Business Systems Analyst/Product Owner (AI)

Salary: $137,200–$205,800 annually in San Francisco; compensation varies by location and experience.

What you will do

• Translate strategic objectives into product roadmaps, priorities, backlogs, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, process mapping, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and future-state experience design.
• Connect business stakeholders, legal professionals, designers, engineers, data teams, security teams, and external partners.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, product demonstrations, acceptance testing, retrospectives, and adoption activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve legal service delivery through data, automation, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Define success measures and promote responsible innovation with attention to privacy, confidentiality, reliability, security, and human oversight.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, product ownership, product management, technology consulting, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology products or transformation initiatives.
• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, gap analysis, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience managing product backlogs and working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, structured problem-solving, and enterprise technology skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with a Big Four firm or leading management, strategy, or technology consultancy.
• Experience in legal, professional, or financial services, or another regulated and knowledge-intensive environment.
• Experience with AI-enabled products, knowledge platforms, workflow automation, or enterprise digital workplace initiatives.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CSPO, PSPO, PMP, or SAFe.
