Senior Business Systems Analyst (Business Systems/Agile): Translating business needs into functional requirements and supporting scalable software solutions with an accent on requirements management, process analysis, and cross-functional product delivery. Focus on facilitating Agile planning, validating solutions through UAT, tracing requirements across the software development lifecycle, and driving continuous product improvements through metrics and customer feedback.
Location: Remote opportunity for candidates in the United States, with the role associated with Santa Ana, California
Salary: $85,000–$113,300 annually

What you will do
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, Customer Support, and business stakeholders to support software delivery.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional specifications, and other product documentation.
- Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirements clarification, release readiness, and other Agile delivery activities.
- Analyze customer feedback, support trends, product metrics, and operational data to recommend improvements.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle and support release planning, launch support, and post-release stabilization.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing and validate that delivered functionality meets documented business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software delivery, product development, or business systems analysis.
- Experience working in Agile software development teams and facilitating requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Experience documenting user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Experience supporting software releases, production support, and post-release stabilization.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
- Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, RESTful APIs, JSON, system integrations, Power BI, Tableau, or DOMO.
