Senior Business Process Consultant

Location: USA - New York City, NY. Domestic travel is required for less than 25% of work time, and applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office during the recruitment process.

Salary: $107,500.00–$188,400.00 USD, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Define strategies and designs for complex platforms, processes, projects, and process-improvement initiatives.
• Advise senior management and collaborate with business owners, technical resources, and internal stakeholders.
• Translate investment cases and strategic objectives into business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.
• Lead business activities throughout development, manage priorities and progress, and mitigate risks affecting scope, budget, timelines, or release.
• Review QA plans and results, create and execute user acceptance testing materials, and support beta testing.
• Coordinate production migration, release documentation, knowledge transfer, training, and post-deployment support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or 7 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• At least 8 years of experience in business analysis, operations, product development, project management, or a comparable function.
• Experience eliciting and documenting functional and detailed requirements and translating business needs into system and process requirements.
• Experience with process improvement, business modeling, software development lifecycles such as Agile/SAFe or Waterfall, and project management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, multitasking, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and requirements or diagramming tools including ADO, JIRA, Confluence, Lucid, Miro, and Microsoft Visio; ability to travel independently by air.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration.
• 10–12 years of experience in product development, business analysis, or project management.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
