Portfolio Manager III - Entertainment & Sports Banking (Finance)

Location: In office at 400 North Roxbury Drive, Beverly Hills, California, or New York, New York, United States

Salary: $122,535–$208,715 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Manage an assigned corporate credit portfolio within the bank’s risk management framework.
• Underwrite credit exposures and prepare credit recommendations, underwriting memorandums, and approval documents.
• Analyze borrower and guarantor financial statements, projections, and cash flow pro formas.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk ratings, reporting covenants, and covenant compliance.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, clients, and cross-functional teams to structure and deliver credit solutions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and participate in client presentations, sales pitches, and strategic projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of progressively increasing credit underwriting and portfolio management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience underwriting or managing corporate clients in the entertainment, sports, and/or music industries.
• Advanced knowledge of credit management, lending operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work from the designated City National office location; this role is not remote.
