Field Planner

Location: Central Maine Power Service Building, Brunswick, Maine, United States

Rate range: $27.38–$42.05 per hour

hirify.global, through Central Maine Power, operates electric utility infrastructure and supports construction, maintenance, and field operations.

What you will do

• Design electric utility construction work orders using the Work Management System.
• Stake lines and prepare sketches, circuit maps, diagrams, estimates, records, and reports.
• Prepare private property easements and information for municipal petitions and permits.
• Assist with load checks, customer complaint investigations, and corrective-action planning.
• Perform online inspections and represent the company on contract work.
• Work assigned overtime and respond to emergency assignments when required.

Requirements

• Two-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering technology or a related field, or seven years of line worker experience.
• High school education or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and a safe, responsible driving record.
• Working knowledge of line construction, materials, standards, procedures, circuits, feeds, and switches.
• Ability to prepare accurate estimates, records, and reports and represent the company courteously in the field.
• Knowledge of operating standards, safety instructions, and applicable company policies and directives.
