Electrical Designer (BESS)

Location: Remote or Lakewood, Colorado, United States. Some field work may be required, with minimal travel of 0–10%.

Salary: $30.00–$37.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on electrical engineering design for utility-scale BESS projects.
• Produce detailed designs and engineering drawings in line with project and client requirements.
• Specify and review equipment and components for BESS electrical systems.
• Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, codes, and best practices.
• Participate in project meetings, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and provide progress updates.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of engineering design or relevant experience.
• Experience with physical design and proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems.
• Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills, including the ability to read engineering plans and technical literature.
• Degree in electrical engineering technology or relevant experience preferred.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

• Knowledge of renewable energy and battery storage systems.
