Lineman (Engineering)

Location: Must be based in or able to work in Willis and Conroe, TX; Jackson to Grenada, MS; or North Monroe, LA

Salary: $24–$54 per hour, plus per diem

What you will do

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead distribution electrical systems.
• Install and maintain poles, transformers, switches, and conductors.
• Operate heavy utility equipment including bucket trucks and digger derricks.
• Perform system upgrades, reconductoring, and pole change-outs.
• Assist with emergency storm restoration and outage recovery efforts.
• Ensure all work complies with OSHA and company safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and CDL Class A required.
• Journeyman Lineman certification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Strong knowledge of overhead distribution construction and safety practices.
