What you will do

• Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for title insurance commitments and policies.
• Underwrite real estate transactions within delegated authority using company standards and guidelines.
• Guide personnel in delivering real estate settlement services.
• Issue underwriting standards and guidelines in line with established processes.
• Communicate underwriting and settlement-service information to the team.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of title underwriting experience.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with real estate law and federal and state title insurance regulations.
• Strong understanding of title insurance, settlement processes, and underwriting real estate transactions.
• Strong negotiation, communication, organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions, solve complex issues creatively, collaborate, and build relationships.
