Senior Finance Analyst (Automotive)

Location: Bratislava Business Centre, Slovakia; hybrid work model with remote work up to 3 days per week based on departmental agreement

What you will do

• Collect, consolidate, and analyze P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow data from approximately 22 production plants across Europe.
• Prepare variance analyses, financial reports, consolidated P&L bridges, outlooks, profit plans, and month-end close presentations.
• Support purchasing finance processes covering rebates, savings, material economics, forecasting assumptions, and data integrity checks.
• Assist with annual budgets, monthly forecasts, long-term business plans, financial templates, and automated consolidation tools.
• Provide run-rate analysis, scenario modeling, and ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Improve and automate FP&A reporting and planning tools using Excel Visual Basic macros, Power BI, or similar technologies, while coordinating requirements with production plants and cross-functional finance teams.

Requirements

• Background in finance, accounting, or economics, or a strong interest in these fields.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience working with financial data.
• Extensive MS Office and Excel experience, including complex formulas and functions.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Fluency in English required for international collaboration.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Visual Basic and Excel macro programming.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and automation tools.
