Manager II, Technical Accounting

What you will do

• Oversee technical accounting activities supporting key business operations.
• Research compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, GASB, and other international accounting standards.
• Implement new accounting standards, prepare technical accounting memos, and develop financial statement disclosures.
• Assess the accounting impact of new initiatives, transactions, contracts, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures.
• Manage fixed asset processes from initial recognition through financial reporting.
• Coordinate with consultants, auditors, reporting teams, and stakeholders while mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; an advanced master's degree is preferred.
• CPA or equivalent certification required.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong communication, listening, time management, and analytical skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Nice to have

• Public accounting experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.
• Experience with ASC 805 and ASC 810.
