Utilities Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain, inspect, and operate compressed air, process water, product water, and electrical distribution systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, record operational data, and maintain pumps, piping, air compressors, air dryers, cooling towers, chillers, and heat exchangers.
• Maintain filtration and reverse osmosis systems, including membrane cleaning, instrument monitoring, and filter changes.
• Operate and maintain chemical injection, chemical transfer, ozone, and mineral injection systems where applicable.
• Perform CIP procedures on storage silos, filtration equipment, supply lines, and reverse osmosis membranes; assist with filler sanitization.
• Promote plant safety and participate in safety investigations and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in the field or a similar manufacturing environment.
• At least four years of experience in the position and in managing people or projects.
• Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical experience.
• High school diploma required.
• No foreign language is required.

Nice to have

• Six years of experience in the field, position, and managing people or projects.
• Associate's degree in Chemistry or Microbiology.
