STAT Reporting & Research Summer Internship (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid position in Short Hills, New Jersey; applicants must be within commuting distance of the corporate office.

Salary: USD $22.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Complete daily premium analysis and reporting against budget and prior-year performance.
• Prepare assigned state filing schedules and supporting documentation.
• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare assigned schedules for quarterly NAIC filings.
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to gather reporting and filing information.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and analysis requests for the Statutory Reporting team.

Requirements

• Current college student majoring in Finance or a related field.
• Full-time undergraduate junior or senior preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Ability to perform at a professional level.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is preferred.
