Service Manager (Property Maintenance)

What you will do

• Lead service, groundskeeping, housekeeping, and facilities maintenance operations for the assigned property.
• Manage work orders, preventative maintenance plans, inspections, property turns, inventory, and resource allocation.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and develop maintenance team members while directing daily workflow.
• Coordinate vendors, service contracts, retail tenant maintenance requests, and collaboration with nearby properties.
• Maintain facilities, equipment, signage, curb appeal, storage areas, and vacant retail spaces to required standards.
• Ensure safe equipment operation, OSHA compliance, weather preparedness, key control, and maintenance performance within budget.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of proven mid- to high-level technical experience in residential facilities maintenance.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, planning, and administrative skills.
• Experience supporting or leading maintenance teams and managing operational workflows.
• Ability to oversee facilities systems, preventative maintenance, vendors, inspections, and compliance requirements.
• HVAC certification is preferred.
