Senior Program Manager (Defense): Supporting C3I and Infrastructure acquisition programs at Hanscom AFB with an accent on DoD acquisition strategy, statutory reporting, program reviews, and senior-level briefings. Focus on developing acquisition documentation, resolving strategic program issues, managing high-visibility initiatives, and overseeing junior and mid-level personnel.

Location: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 per year, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

What you will do

  • Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports such as DAES and MAR.
  • Prepare program status briefings, schedules, and acquisition task materials for senior management.
  • Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings, and IMP/IMS reviews.
  • Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions.
  • Manage high-visibility programs and support strategic-level issues under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Oversee junior and mid-level personnel within the technical or professional discipline.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must be able to maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the relevant technical or professional discipline, including five years in the Department of Defense; or 15 years of directly related experience with the required certifications, including eight years in the Department of Defense.
  • Advanced knowledge of DoD acquisition strategy, documentation, standards, procedures, and practices.
  • Experience with ACAT I programs, RFP documentation, Acquisition Strategy reviews, and senior-level briefings.
  • Proven leadership, team-building, strategic planning, organizational development, and independent working skills.
