Senior Program Manager, Professional Services for Defense and Intelligence (Geospatial and Remote Sensing): Leading professional services teams and delivering high-impact geospatial solutions for defense and intelligence customers with an accent on technical oversight, customer adoption, and complex program execution. Focus on managing multiple workstreams, solving ambiguous national-security challenges, and building teams that deliver precise solutions on time and under budget.
Location: Hybrid; work from the Berlin, Haarlem, or London office three days per week
Salary: £132,930–£166,140 gross annually, plus potential commission, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity.
Company
designs, builds, and operates a large constellation of imaging satellites and delivers satellite imagery and geospatial data through a cloud-based platform.
What you will do
- Lead Professional Services teams of solutions architects, deployment strategists, and software engineers.
- Guide strategy and execution across multiple six- to twelve-month projects and workstreams.
- Deliver geospatial solutions for Defense and Intelligence customers and support adoption of the Platform.
- Provide technical oversight for major projects, managing delivery timelines, budgets, risks, specifications, and complexity.
- Champion agile, test-driven development, and source-control practices.
- Build the organization through hiring, team design, performance management, and career development.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience and 4+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Geography, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience delivering high-impact geospatial solutions for Defense and Intelligence missions.
- Experience managing complex programs for national security or government agencies where technical precision and timely delivery are critical.
- Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work from the Berlin, Haarlem, or London office three days per week.
Nice to have
- 5+ years in a technical geospatial or remote sensing role.
- Experience with large enterprise defense and intelligence customers, workshops, or user training.
- Expertise with QGIS, Esri software, GDAL, or comparable geospatial tools.
- Familiarity with cloud architectures, AI, and machine learning.
- Active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
