Director, Solutions Lead (Space Warfighting)

Location: Remote, U.S.; supporting the El Segundo office

What you will do

• Own the solution roadmap across Global Mission Operations, Space Control, Space Access, and Space Energy and Wargaming.
• Serve as senior solution architect and develop differentiated, executable, and repeatable approaches for priority pursuits.
• Translate customer mission challenges into solution concepts, MVPs, demonstrations, reference architectures, delivery playbooks, and transition plans.
• Lead make, buy, or partner recommendations and integrate reusable capabilities into the hirify.global solution catalog.
• Partner with Growth, Finance, Contracts, Operations, Engineering, and industry partners on pipeline priorities, pricing, contract considerations, data rights, and delivery models.
• Create customer-facing and internal solution artifacts, support executive engagements, and incorporate lessons learned into the roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, data science, operations research, business, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• 15+ years of experience in solution architecture, solution development, space systems engineering, digital engineering, test and evaluation, or U.S. and Allied defense markets.
• 8+ years of leadership experience managing technical, solution architecture, productized-services, pursuit, or engineering teams.
• Experience developing repeatable mission solutions, solution roadmaps, MVPs, reference architectures, implementation patterns, and maturation paths.
• Knowledge of systems engineering, mission integration, operational test and evaluation, cyber-physical resilience, digital engineering, data, and AI.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with active SCI eligibility are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
• Experience with space and launch vehicle subsystems, software development, mod/sim solutions, digital twins, model-based systems engineering, or AI-enabled decision support.
• Experience with product management, Agile/MVP delivery, MOSA, open architectures, platform-enabled services, or product-attached professional services.
• Relevant INCOSE, PMP, CISSP, cloud, or engineering certifications.
