Ground Segment Technical Manager (Space)

Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland; up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Lead the technical development of Ground Segment solutions.
• Define and maintain the overall technical vision across the project lifecycle.
• Lead system architecture and coordinate activities across software engineering, mission operations, flight dynamics, communications, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data processing.
• Define technical interfaces, manage risks and trade-offs, and ensure alignment with customer requirements, performance objectives, and industry standards.
• Act as the technical authority while collaborating with the Project Manager, customers, partners, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Background in complex software-intensive systems.
• Systems engineering skills, including MBSE and SysML.
• Experience defining interfaces and specifications.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams.
• Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with satellite Ground Segments or their functional blocks.
• Knowledge of Capella or Enterprise Architecture.
• Experience with DOORS.
